Anyone who reads, watches, or listens to the news these days knows that the political perspective on life events – and especially ecological disasters – can be unconvincing at best. The responses and opinions offered by some politicians range from platitudes to propaganda, and often look more like efforts to besmirch the reputations of their political opponents than attempts to discover the truth behind a calamity. But what if they went off-script and told us what they really think? Or better yet, what they really know?

Pressure Point: a series of mishandled events is a lighthearted look at how environmental new stories might be framed if our politicians threw off the shackles of protocol, public relations, and party dogma and let their inside voices run amuck. Kinda sounds like some of this is already happening in the world. I hope you find the interviews entertaining and thought-provoking.
